About the developer
Necessity is the mother of invention.
I'm on the road 18 to 20 days a month. For a long time, that meant my fitness lived in a constant state of "starting over." I'd find a routine at home, then spend the next three weeks in hotels where the gym was a rack of mismatched dumbbells, a treadmill facing the wall, and a bench that had seen better days.
Every program I tried assumed I had a barbell, a cable machine, or a consistent schedule. I had none of those. I'd walk in tired after a long day, stare at the equipment, do a few half-hearted sets, and leave feeling like I'd wasted the time. That frustration added up, and so did the toll on my energy, my sleep and my health.
So I built the plan I wished I'd had: a real, progressive program designed around exactly what hotel gyms actually have. Then I turned it into an app that tells me what to do, keeps track of my numbers, and works even when the Wi-Fi doesn't.
If you're reading this from a hotel bed with a 5 a.m. alarm set, I get it. Carry-On Fitness is for you.
